   Mineral spice, stone, light fruit and fennel seed scents. Evenly flowing on the palate, pervaded by finely concentrated acidity and mineral grip, delicately juicy with citrus zest and stone dust nuances. Fine tension into the long finish. Purist with depth.

   A generous fragrance unites the enticing scent of local orchard fruit with citrusy notes from more exotic locations. Luscious with sweet fruit, the palate also exhibits some fresh herbal notes with the finest of mineral stony nuances.

   The 2018 Burgberg Riesling GG is pure yet intense and flinty on the nose that delivers perfectly ripe and elegant fruit aromas intertwined with notes of crushed stones and cold ashes. Distinctive and tensioned! On the palate, this is a full-bodied, rich and mouth-filling, very elegant, fine and tensioned Riesling with lots of mineral grip and salts. Pretty tonic and still with yeasty notes. Very young. This is a great Riesling from the Nahe, and we can only tax it in a couple of years. Tasted from a bottle that was opened two weeks before in October 2020.
