Productinformatie
De delicate neus geurt heerlijk naar steenfruit en een vleugje ananas. In de mond mooie mineraliteit, heerlijk crémeux door de rijping ‘sur lie’ gevolgd door een frisse en lange afdronk. Prachtige wijn, nu reeds bijzonder verleidelijk, die nog beter gaat zijn met een jaar of 2 flesrijping. Chenin Blanc in topvorm zoals je er slechts in beperkte mate proeft.

    Vinous
    The 2021 Chenin Blanc Sur Lie is matured in used French and Hungarian barrels and concrete eggs, with 30% carbonic maceration. There's quite a phenolic nose here, rather leesy with touches of spice and candle wax. The palate is balanced with a bit of orange rind on the entry. There’s plenty of extract here with a textural, almost Alsace-like finish. This can be broached now, but it has the substance to age.

    30% carbonic maceration, 21 days skin contact. 50% matured in concrete tank and 50% in barrels, 5% new. Top notes of potpourri, ginger and other spice before peach, orange and cut-apple. Rich and broad with tangy acidity, the finish slighty grippy. A particular, deeply flavourful example of the variety.
